Zonid is one of the guards that keeps The Forbidden Crypts of Shakanasa. This dragonborn is tired of stopping curious tourists who want to visit the crypts. He only thinks of retiring and living in peace, away from the people and the heat of the desert.
The kobold who runs the Spine Boys tavern should never be trusted. Knobum will try to blackmail you and increase the prices of everything it offers.
Mohab is a tabaxi and one of the petty thieves that swarms through the city. He knows all the secrets that are circulating around, but, obviously, that information is never free...
After freeing herself and her people from the tyranny of the mind flayers, Nuben-amen-ma, the githzerai, became the leader of the deserts.

The Forbidden Crypts of Shakanasa
It is said that the Forbidden Crypts of Shakanasa hide one of Faerûn's greatest treasures. The mountains of gold coins, precious gems and other valuables are so great that it is impossible to see the top.
However, they also comment that, within those walls, endless deadly traps are hidden, as well as a curse, since no adventurer has managed to get out of those crypts alive.
This is a Dungeons and Dragons campaign project and I illustrated for it:
- Four NPCs who will interact with the adventurers.
- A background with some thumbnails.
- Five props the adventurers will need in this campaign.
- And a splash art of the five players in The Forbidden Crypts of Shakanasa.
